June 2019 saw us traveling to Sao Paulo during the first-ever BCB (Bar Convent Berlin) in Brazil. Bar Astor invited Dante to do a complete takeover of their establishment for four special nights. The decoration, the music, the uniforms and obviously, the cocktails made this classic “Paulista" bar become Dante. AB Inbev jumped onboard as the headline sponsor and asked us to create three beer-based cocktails for their local craft brand Wals, including a variation of a Negroni, that was named Chopp Sbagliato. This cocktail was so popular during the pop up that it became an official negroni of The Negroni Week Brazil and was immortalized as a limited edition painting by world-famous Brazilian artist Mateus Bailon.
